Who Are We

Jesus said in Matthew 9:37-38 “…The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest” (CWSB)  We’re doing our part to be obedient  both in going ourselves as laborers to the City of Compton, AND continuing to pray for other co-laborers.  We’d love to hear from everyone - anyone still needing to be saved, both new and solid grounded believers who have answered the call.  We would humbly count it a privilege to pray and walk with you as you’re continuing your growth as disciples.  We’d love to encourage you as you’re obediently stepping out to discover God’s plan and purpose for your life as well as what part of that can be fulfilled in and through the Calvary CPT family.  We want to get to know you and where you are in your personal walk and humbly do whatever we can to walk with you.  More importantly God wants this and therefore sent the Holy Spirit to:

1. help you see clearly and accept what Jesus has done for you
2. bring about in you a new and radically transformed life (Rom 8:11) 
3. lead you (Romans 8:14), 
4. assure you of your place as God’s child (Rom 8:16)  
5. guide you further in truth (John 16:13), 
6. help you bear more fruit as he makes you more like Jesus (Gal 5:22-24), 
7. empower and embolden you (Acts 1:8, 4:31b) and 
8. help you bring Him glory by taking your place in and deploying your gifts to help strengthen His body  (1 Cor 12:18, 14:12).
