Chapter 9 - "Forbearance, Purpose and Righteousness - Grace in God's Greater Plan"

Chapter 9 begins Paul's three chapter reasoning concerning God's working of sovereignty in the history of Israel and how it relates to the Sovereign plan of Grace and salvation for Jews and gentiles, culminating with his Sovereign work of calling many Jews to salvation. Got to sovereignly and powerfully deliver this people of Israel from pharaoh, the most powerful entity on Earth at the time, likewise Works to bring about our own Grace and salvation, and will again deliver his own People Israel from the seemingly hopeless condition of widespread unbelief. In this we see his sovereignty and faithfulness, and our own Grace and salvation through the gospel is set against that backdrop
