"Power to take it again" John 10:18b

Jesus said "I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again" John 10:18. He later said "unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain"John 12:24. Having done all that was necessary to pay for our sins, He showed His ultimate power and authority over death, hell and the grave by resurrecting. He then encourages and empowers His disciples, preparing them to continue ministering that same death defying power to the dead and lost.
